Traditional British Food
Do you remember all those traditional British recipes your old mum used to make? As time goes by the old recipes tend to just fade away and disappear. Well, that isn't going to happen if we can help it!
British cuisine is often disparaged by chefs from other nations. I could never understand why. British food is among the best in the world. British chefs such as Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay are internationally famous.
British food can be full of flavour and highly nutritious. Like the rest of Europe, Britain does not allow genetically modified food. British cattle is often fed grass, not grain. Britain's crops grow slowly under cooler temperatures and higher rainfall than in other parts of the world.
There are many reasons why British food is different, but the overwhelming reason is that it is prepared in a uniquely British way. Let's make sure that never changes!
